Mass hysteria thread!!!!
For the mentally challenged who think that tonight is actually important (in comparison to saturday), a reason to boo, or a reason why kenny should go.
Lets keep everyone in one place ... over to the idiots, the thread is yours.

This will always be the case, can you imagine If kenny did leave this summer.can see a massive divide forming between bellends and Liverpool fans then.

If the club sacked Kenny I'd be done with it and go and watch non league instead.
Short fucking memories some people.

I don't want to be a contrarian.
But this game was important...not as important as Saturday but it was a great opportunity to for some players to lay down a marker, not as a team even (lets pretend we can dismiss that they train and play together and are professionals) but as individuals. There was reason teams like Fulham failed for decades at Anfield...and to causally dismiss this game and opponent as just another loss(and yes the last 4 months is a pattern) is wrong. This is a damning indictment of the players and the danger of accepting mediocrity and embracing complacency (and obviously quite a lot of our players j'accuse).

I don't get the booing. Don't get it in the context of the game, of the team that was out there with Saturday in mind or what the booers are trying to achieve in terms of the next time these players take to the pitch. Attempting to relieve sexual frustrations perhaps?
Not sure if it was shown on the telly but after the lovely reaction Jonjo's freekick got sounded around the ground, Murphy got hold of him and starting consoling him, having a word in his ear. Fair play to him for that. He's been on the end of enough of his own undeserved stick at Anfield.

I think it says more about the squad players that were out tonight.
Im sure some knew they wont be playing on Saturday and there performance provide it.

I agree - dreadful thought that they are so myopic. Kenny is a good manager and he'll remember apathy of some, who whilst it is bound to be disappointing, are not featuring, in the main, because they have failed to perform. Sound like the generational problem - the feeling of 'entitlement'.

We really are in the shit as a club and as a set of supporters when even in times of celebration a large percentage of fans come out wit "but we are shit in the league"
Everyone already knows this.you just need to glance at the table.despite this we are still having more success than 90% of other teams.
We are recovering from 2 seasons of asset stripping and near bankruptcy and merely a year later have a cup in the bag and a final v Chelsea.
Ffs alls not perfect but theres plenty to be happy about given where we are coming from.
Have some faith that this will be addressed for next season.

I do have faith, the rumour mill has started very early, which means we're already busy addressing this season's problem areas

I worry about our midfield next season as we will get a partner for Suarez no doubt but who is good enough in midfield for a top 4 team?
