I'd stand for a free flight.

I can't see it happening unless you are strapped in somehow or signed a waver.

I'd stand for a free flight.

Why would it be free? When airlines make such a big deal about the cost of fuel and weight on the plane (amongst other things). They'd also be ripping out seats they could sell!

In reality, if they did somehow get this to happen there'll be a whole bunch of add-ons. COst for checking in, cost for luggage, cost for using the toilet....

The whole thing doesn't make sense. It's a PR Stunt - keeps Ryanair in the news.

They can't fucking fill the planes anyway so why would they need people standing?

I agree that it won't happen... Just like some other ridiculous notion they had of charging passengers to use the toilets. (That didn't happen, did it?)

Ryanair are shite. I flew with them last year and after all the hidden extras, plus changing the time of my flight meaning I had to change it to the day before (involving about £20 in 'phone calls). I could have flown with a decent airline for the same cost.

Never went with Ryanair.

Jet2 weren't too bad. Not the most comfortable, but the flights were fairly cheap, if I remember correctly.

have flown with ryanair even though the planes themselves are a bit spartan in ways they run on time that's the main thing

I prefer ones that run on kerosene.

"Michael makes a lot of this stuff up as he goes along and while this has been discussed internally there are no immediate plans to introduce it," Stephen McNamara said in a statement.

As I said keeps Ryanair in the news and raises awareness of the brand - free advertising! It would cost a fortune to get the media coverage they have with this "announcement"

Please God, don't make it happen.

Ryanair's millionth passenger celebrates his free fare on his descent to JLA.

Seriously though, Ryanair are the least helpful or trustworthy company I've ever dealt with. Gang of crooks in my opinion, and their boss is all about the publicity.

I'm sure I've read that their quick turnarounds put them very much on the borderline with regards safety checks and maintenance too.

Never used any of these cheap airlines. How come they're that cheap? No service, horrible food or what is it?

No food Quintuple. They're normally short haul flights so you only buy snacks onboard.

I will say this though, I'd be lost without them. I go back home around 5 to 6 times a year and they're always cheap. You get what you paid for, a seat on a flight, that's it. I don't know why people give out about them all the time really as regards to service, they have terms and conditions, everything is in there. You don't like them, don't book a flight, if you do book a flight then don't be angry when they charge you for changing your flight or carry an extra bag! It's all there in small print. I have absolutely no problem with them.

Agreed. What do people expect for the low cost? You pay for a flight, no frills.
