View Full Version : Setanta and LFC TV
LFC vs PFC
19th June 2009, 06:33 PM
With Setanta losing it's rights for this seasons Premiership matches, what will become of LFC TV. My biggest regret of jacking in Setanta was the fact that I wouldn't be able to see our reserve mathes. Does anyone know who will get LFC when Setanta finally folds?

No they missed the deadline so the rights for next seasons premier league games will go out again for bidding (think it's about 46 games )
Deadline for the bids is Monday

Back on the likes of the beeb would be good. Who'd have the money to go for them though. I'd imagine it may be a big foreign carrier like epsn or the likes

Still shocks me that the BBC & ITV don't get together to bid for the games

You can still watch the games through the e-season ticket, from the offal.

Yeah its a bit baffling really. Although they would have to look at doing a pay per view service to re-coup the costs. That could possibly be a deterrent. Also, if i remember correctly, i read some time ago that pay per views were being scrapped or was it that a certain amount of games had to be available on freeview or cable
