anyone on here who watch streamed matches regularly can you tell me how good the quality is.
Would it be good enough to connect the laptop up to the tv and watch the games through the tv via streaming.

doubt it, often even full screen on the laptop is a bit much

i do it through hdmi cord, and its great, watch all the aussie rugby, cricket etc...works fine, seems very pixelated on the computer but seems to translate better when put through tv.

That's if we still have streams come the new season!
WWE have started shutting PPV streams down on Justin TV and I know that's a large source of football streams..

Get yourself a dodgy box antonio
Wwe are bastards for pulling streams, your better off downloading next day
Sky did pull a few games off justin towards the end of the season, but if you get on early enough you can join a password protected room and sky can't get them

thats what i was hoping, i have a hdmi output on my laptop and was hoping that the upscaler on my tv would do a reasonable job and make the stream viewable. I do watch some youtube videos using this method and they are ok not brilliant but ok.

they are not brilliant, and some can be very frustrating, stop start stop start, always buffering etc.... but its better than listening to it on the radio.
running it through the tv helps a bit, but it looks much better when i run it through a projector on a massive screen.
