Fair play to the BBC. I thought it was a really well thought out tribute and well documented programme they did. No holding back, even with that fucking newspaper.
(Interview with Aldo and Jocky and a few other bits here)...

I thought the piece that Sue Johnson did and the interview with Trevor and Jenny Hicks was so emotional too.
I had tears streaming down my cheeks for 45 minutes.
Well done to the BBC.
We'll never forget you.
RIP 96

Mate just sent me this off the Villatalk site, he's a mad Villa fan, he doesn't echo what this clown has to say but he says it's pretty much what he reads day in day out on there from many a Villa fan, amazing how some people think isn't it.
There have been many tragedies in football, and throughout life in general - I don't want to seem a heartless bastard because it was very sad what happened at Hillsborough but I am fed up of Liverpool fans milking it and banging on about it. People have died elsewhere and other clubs quietly and respectfully mourn their death and celebrate their memory. A minutes silence here and there, black armbands and donation appeals... yet Liverpool always seem to demand fixtures are moved to suit the anniversary of it and the papers splatter a 2 page memorial every damn year.
20 years on and Hillsborough is the saddest and most upsetting thing to ever happen in football - yet I wonder what percentage of Liverpool fans even know there was a similar stampede in the Ivory Coast barely 3 weeks ago.
As you said, the Bradford City fire is always glossed over... Man Utd make less fuss about their Busby Babes plane crash than Liverpool do over fucking Hillsborough! Bloody hell memorial sunday get's as much press coverage as Hillsborough does and that's hundreds of thousands of brave soldiers dying to protect those who are mourning them.
Show respect for your losses, yes... we will respect that - but stop shoving it down our fucking throats. Life goes on!

Cheers BenGabb. I missed this originally.
As DB said, good on the BBC this time, it was very moving. To the families: we'll never forget.

Let's not turn this into an other club thread please.
It's about 96 reds and their families. No-one else matters.
Sorry, not being a cunt.
Cheers.

True Ducs, I agree. Just wanted to show just how shallow people can be, they've even started a thread on Villatalk now about it my mate has said.

Fair enough mate, you just get pricks who support all clubs (and non-pricks who support all clubs too). Don't give them the attention they obviously crave.
