:)
I'm thinking of one incident in particular - he ran 3/4 of the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of us (in a manner that wasn't particularly aggressive - more like vomit-inducing ;)) - but to be fair he had had to listen to the song about him and his ma during the game.
If I was playing football and that song was being sung at me, I wouldn't have been as restrained as him - I would have jumped into the crowd and stabbed people!
Maybe I've missed something, but unless someone can remind me, is it not fair to say he's passionate about his side and loves them like we love ours?
I know he has a shite moustache but I don't know of any crimes he's committed that make him anywhere near as detestable as John Terry (like the 'story' about Terry parking in disabled spaces cos he can afford the fine, amongst others).
If I'm wrong, then somebody please fill me in (in the verbal sense, not in the aggressive sense if at all possible).

Wasn't Mascherano's automatic one match ban for his two yellow red card last year extended to a three match ban due to his failure to leave the field of play when ordered off by the official.
It took Terry a minute to leave the field after he and four other players surrounded the referee, and his three match ban turns into a zero match ban....???

I agree.
Any foul that is committed after the tackle is worse than one done in the heat of the tackle.
Just because he wasn't the last man doesn't mean that he may not have thought he might be-or that it shouldn't be classed as a professional foul.

It's the same old story isn't it?
Every season he does the same thing. The FA always let him get away with it and end up making themselves look like snivelling, sycophantic lapdogs that they are.
What's Fergie going to do if they take action? Withold England players from internationals? He does that already on the slightest twinge with little or no criticism from the press or the FA.
How can he have so much power over who referees which game.
I've thought that Evs exaggerates with his use of the word corruption but I've now realised there can be no other word for it.

its fucking sickening the influence he has in this country.
papers are reporting it without a word of condemnation.
Firstly what the fuck has it got to do with him anyway?
secondly Portsmouth in the cup last season. The referee is accused of being a cheat by ferguson-and hey presto the charges are dropped.Weeks later he is giving out lectures on showing respect to referees after the mascharano sending off.

He obviously genuinely thought that it was serious foul play. Why should he rescind if he was of the belief that it was serious foul play?
To be punished for, rightly or wrongly, genuinely believeing that he got it right, and sticking with his convictions, is a joke. We need more refs like him not ones that pander to moaning cheats. We'll end up with refs giving yellows instead of stonewall reds against chelsea and their ilk.
It's been disgracefully handled.

The 102 was an hourly service and we couldn't use them between 4 and 6pm. The Aintree one arrived at five to four and the twat of a driver wouldn't let us get on. The same driver lived on my road. The same driver's flowers would grow in his front yard a few weeks after I was 'caught short' coming home from the pub after a spell of underage drinking.
