My personal pick is the Crown Paints from 1983 - 85 in which we famously wore in Rome 84 :D

Agreed on that.The first game I went to was in 85 and the first kit I actually saved up for rather than let my parents buy.

Its utter class, I bought the away of that season's off Toffs about a year or two ago.


But my favourite is probably the Red Candy one, I was about 7 at the time so its probably the one I appreciated the most.

I like the hitachi and the eary cany ones but my word the reebok ones are horrid i remember when i always wanted a new kit producer i was happy when i saw the news about addidas being our new sponsors.

I must say I think our badge has become overly fussy over the years. It was best when it was just the gold liver bird with the LFC underneath. Now it's too much.

Spurs' badge went this way until they recently stripped it back to basics (even though they seem to have put a basketball in instead of a football). We should do the same. Far classier.

I had the email from the club last week, to let me know they're reissuing the '87-'88 Crown Paints home shirt - due out on 1st November.

Decided to go into the L1 store today, to have a look (;)) - guess what? "Er, it's been delayed, for a few weeks, we think - you'd best just keep checking, to see when it comes in"

i also liked the champions league kit with the gold trim from the 06 campaign (i think). I know its a bit flash but i thought it looked good.

See what i did there by mistake. i referred to the souness era, meaning his period as a manager. And i am sure everyone reading understood that. But it is a great pity that such a great player tarnished his reputation in such a terrible way,that he sticks in the memory for his poor period of management. just a thought.

Remember getting my first kit - that was it.

Those were the days when you couldn't really buy replica strips but you could buy the badge. I don't know if that's because we had no money or they were not available. Most kids just bought a red football shirt and had the badge sewn on. They were more than happy with that.
