Semi-Pro.

Somehow there are a lot more laughs in the minute-long trailer than the 90 minute film.

Dire.

Just fucking rank.

Terrible.

I didn't like it.

I got reviews saying it was the worst film ever made and I thought it can't be that bad surely,so I had a look.

I was wrong.I was wronger than Brian Wrong from Wrongcastle.

i liked smokin' aces... alecia keys is grrrreat...

but, probably the worst filum of all time has got to be 'the boys in blue'... cannon and ball at their most atrocious... no, really... it's not even 'funny-bad'... it's just a waste of a few quid and precious moments of one's fleeting life...

I found Anchorman to be a very funny movie.

It's the only Will Ferrell film worth watching.

Virus with Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Sutherland was another one I paid to go and watch.

Slither was meant to be the American Shaun of the Dead.It was piss.

I'd rather hurt myself with pliers than sit through anything with Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller in.

The royal tenembuns (sp?).Outstanding cast. Fucking shocking film.

If you go and see a film with canon and ball in it you really cant be expecting oscar material?

Something like Battleship Earth. (A scientologist movie)

That movie has to win the Oscar for worst film.

The worst film since 'Roundhay Garden Scene' (1888) is 'You Got Mail'.

Ultraviolet. I thought it might be sort of like Equilibrium but with a fit girl (that one who was in Fifth Element, her name escapes me, wait no it doesn't, Milla Jovovich). Ultrashite.

Recently saw Jumper, that was pretty dire considering Samuel L. Jackson is in it (and Mannequin). They just took the Nightcrawler character from X-men and turned him human. Not only human but a human who can't act.

Grease is a good bit of fun. Didn't like it when it 1st came out but I do like it now.

As I mentioned on another thread, Cloverfield is utter garbage.

Add to that a film I saw recently that had the tit out of Billy Elliott and Samuel L Jackson in it. Can't remember the name but it was about people who could 'jump' back in time. Not a bad idea, but Samuel L Jackson aside, the acting was atrocious.

I think this is more an 'overrated' list, rather than purely shit. There are thousands of shit movies, just check anything below 4 on imdb.

So, movies I think are shit but others seem to rate.

300 - triumph of style over content. In other words, shit.
Spiderman movies - shite. Batman Begins is how it should be done.
Kill Bill 1 and 2 - plagiarised rubbish
The Scream movies or any of those horror comedies.
Hostel - torture porn.
Rocky Horror Picture Show - God I Hate This Show
A Clockwork Orange - it's shit, admit it. I like Kubrick but i just can't get into this one.

and ANY musical.

Any film that's got to do with street dancing - had the misfortune to watch "You got served" - wtf was all that about?

The Star Trek movies, especially the new ones are always shite.

I am Legend - complete shite

Another one that I downloaded, I think it was called "what's up chuck" or something like that. Was meant to be a comedy - was complete and utter dross

Spiderman 1 and 2 were superb. If you didn't like the movies then you were probably not a fan of the comics.

Batman Begins was ok and it's heart was in the right place but was a compromised attempt. If you've read Year One or the Dark Night Returns you'll see what a compromise it was.

Not touched a nerve, but I've never met anyone who's seen it and not liked it. And even then, disliked it enough to put it in a 'must not see' discussion.

Its just one of those cult films that is sort of corny but the ingredients are just right to make it highly enjoyable. I even remember Kiefer Sutherland saying in an interview (when he was supposed to be plugging 24) that the film has something about it as people still ask him about it to this day.

The soundtrack is a classic too.

Nice to have a film that doesn't have the usual 'bad guy gets killed, hero saves the day in gigantic showdown' type ending.

I was going to start a new thread on this but in light of all the new threads popping up with the same crap I thought I’d be economical I sat through 1 hour and I think 17 minutes of what I would class as the most pointless piece of dribble ever to appear on my TV screen. I would not class myself as a movie buff, but I do have the same taste as most in regards to excellent films, like The Usual Suspects, Along came a Spider, The Shawshank Redemption etc etc.. I watched some awful films in my time, but have never complained because if the story line was ok or the acting was very good, or at least it was a little entertaining, I would say "ok, not the greatest film, probably won't ever watch it again but at least I've seen it now.." I have never before felt as if I have been seriously robbed of precious time as I did last night when the credits appeared out of nowhere after arguably the worst piece of trash I have ever witnessed in my life was over... If you ever go to a movie shop and see "The Happening" please trust me, it is not good and will leave you empty inside, or full of regret/anger as it did to me.. Last night I took a hit for the team, Be Warned!!!

5 out of 5 review then?

5 out of 5 review then?

You have no idea:mad: I'm thinking of writing the script to the sequel, I mean if that muck made it on to a film reel, there is hope for us all. Someone actually read the script and said "hey, this is going to be a cracking movie.." HOW? Its about the wind and the trees?? I am truly baffled...

Godfather 3.
A must not see film not because it's so bad but because it's not good enough for the other 2.

It's a catch 22, asa if you never had this steaming pile of trousers, you'd never have had the line:

"Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in"!

If this quote was never aired, the episodes of the Sopranos would only be 20 mins a piece!

absolutely...

fear and loathing is probably one of the best films to show the excesses of drug use... it also has a really great visual representation of halucinating on lsd (the bit in the film where depp is signing into the hotel and looks at the carpet that begins to swirl)...

a genius book and script and film that was made for (relative) peanuts...

an all-time american classic...

hmm... there could be an interesting debate in the offing...

I agree candyman, it is actually very watchable, just seen it last night. It stopped me from driving my car through the front window of extravision. I rented 3 flicks for a week, the first was the happening, the reason i re-opened this thread, the second was juno, which seemed like it was written by ned flanders! Turned off after 20 mins. The third was in bruges, thankfully, i watched and enjoyed it all:)

Fuck actors, it was boring

I'm adding fly me to the moon 3D
I missed the city game earlier this season for that pile of horse shit

The kid wanted to see it so off we went to the cinema to watch 3 flies buzzing about

I could of gone to the local park and watch flies around some dog shit and the would of been more interesting
And it would of cost me nothing

I'd have to agree with Run Fat Boy Run. Didn't get it at all, and for Pegg, who I usually enjoy, I thought it was poor.

Oh and Cloverfield! The most over rated, shite, nonsense film I have ever had the misfortune to see. If that's ever on in the same room again, it's either going off or I'm leaving the room!

A bit of an older film, but I just got around to watching The Thin Red Line yesterday.

Never a more pretentious film made, in my opinion. Almost three hours long, and only 30 minutes of that is actual plot. The rest is just long shots of Jim Caviezel's face and fourth-rate philosophical musings.

Really V for Vendetta? I don't know what will please you then? It was awesome imo and widely accepted as awesome. Maybe i don't know the Brit history part much -maybe that wasnt great for you- .

Just saw Step Brothers... apart from a few good jokes- the movie was a piece of crap. Also include the house bunny.
