Enhancement request

Would be cool in this forum if we had approval/disapproval ratings for posts. Youtube now has this for talkback posts, with good posts getting +1 and bad -1. So the best posts get high scores and shit ones get negative. Anyone else think this would work well on here?

Would also stop loads of posts that just say 'I agree' or 'load of crap'.

We had this sort of thing in place once before, and to be honest it just causes more hassle than it's worth. You get people having a really good moan when they have had their posts poorly rated, and pming asking what people have against them and other such bollocks.

There is always the "rate thread" option.

No-one ever bothers to be fair, there doesn't seem like all that much point! It's just a feature of the software.
