Well as a country we can't get all moralistic about it, as we still have nutters that think that fox hunting is acceptable. But, IT IS CRUEL. As with any cruel pastime that is a part of a country's 'culture' (this, fox hunting) it's allowed to continue for a lot longer than would otherwise be the case.

Without wanting or trying to justify fox-hunting (which I thought was banned anyway:confused: ), people don't pay to sit in an arena and watch it strugggle for life while some lad in fancy gear sticks countless knives in its neck.

It is banned yes, but only very recently. Should have been banned decades ago.
I agree about the paying customers aspect, but I was pointing that until recently we were not innocent in the pursuit of enjoyment from cruelty to animals.

For some reason Jade Goody's name popped into my head when I read that...

I always seem to smile or laugh when I see those clips of matadors (or whoever is taunting the poor animal) getting launched in the air via the medium of the bull's horn in his rectum.

It's just a shit version of a rodeo.....and that's not exactly what I'd call entertainment per se......

It would be more entertaining if Twato had Bully Beefs horns (Plural) buried deep into his back.
Do these bulls ever come out alive? Don't know? Or do they send in another Matador to finish the poor thing off if twato gets it. Forgive me if I sound un-educated on Spanish cultures. Rafa would know, infact the majority of our team would know. I for one don't. Can anybody expand?
Poor fucker. I totally disagree with all animal cruelty.

I would imagine it's a bit like the punter versus the bookie......you win a couple of rounds.......

No undisputed heavy weight bulls then?????? I'd love to see a Matador get what he deserves in the ring to within an inch of his life. That for me would be truly entertaining.
