I've noticed a lot of Aussie related threads on here and some of them have a tiresome "but we beat England at xyz" quality.
I think there's a lack of interest here as, for the main part, we don't really care about Aussie taunting. You're all too far away and it's mostly in sports that don't bother us.
For the record, I like Fremantle a lot.
Thank you.

You're a big lover of "The Dockers" from there, are you?;)

This is exactly what The Prince means, the Aussies on this board for some reason, seem to think we are all very patriotic as far as things like the national side go, and we would be devastated to lose to Australia.
In reality, the majority of us couldn't care less!!
Club over country every time.

'Australians' rhymes with 'aliens'. I think that says it all.

Well, I have zero interest in either of the above, so they don't concern me too much either! ;)

Trust me... Aussies are nuts about sports and take every opportunity to push their sporting superiority (well-deserved... credit where its due) over others. I guess when you are successful in so many sports, it's inevitable to feel a tad arrogant e.g. like the Yanks.
And I agree.. most people from the rest of the world couldn't give two hoots about what other countries have achieved in the sports arena... not when the real world exists and people are dying, starving, struggling to pay off mortgages etc.

Does the same apply to all kinds of mild piss taking of folks with accents?
(It's not like the Aussies are above taking the piss out of us 'Poms' is it?)
