Had a bizarre experience last night, first time for me where I 'woke up' whilst in a dream. I was having a dream nothing particulalry spectacular when I realised it wasn't real and yet I was able to control what I was doing within the dream. I was fully aware it was a dream and so I went outside and bumped into an old friend who asked if I wanted a lift, I jumped in and before we set off I woke up.

Very bizarre, looked it up on the internet and found a plethora of information on lucid dreaming, anyone had this experience?

Yeah i've also had some scary experiences like this. One where i was lying in my bed and i could see my bedroom but couldn't move as though my body was paralysed, then suddenly i woke up with my body shuddering forwardand i was properly awake. Very weird.

I havnt been able to so call "change" my dreams or see see myself in dreams but strangly enough i can almost wake myself up out of a dream when i realise its a dream. confusing lol i dont know if this is lucid dreaming but i find it cool, say for instance im having a bad dream and im falling off a building, i could wake myself up before i hit the ground.
