Went to see the Transformers movie this afternoon...Absolutely amazing. I don't know if it has come out over there yet, so if it has go see it, if it hasn't then you better go on opening weekend as its phenomenal.
If you have theaters/cinemas that have DLP screens definately go watch it on that as it makes a world of difference. Definately a big movie screen type of film.
I don't really want to say much more as I don't want to spoil it for anyone but that it's worth every penny and it's worth watching multiple times as it's just amazing.

I think it's on over here later this month. Saw a trailer for it and have to say it looks fantastic. Might well take a mosey down the flicks.

At first hearing the hype surrounding it, i thought it was just another comic/cartoon conversion mainly for big kids.
Having seen the trailers, and knowing Spielberg is involved, i have to say it looks to have a really dark edge to it, even Mrs. Heggem said she wouldn't mind seeing it.

Sounds like a great movie, it's being released in August over here. Will definately watch it on the Big screen when it comes out.

Watched it a couple of days ago... and it was brilliant. Probably one of the best shows I have watched in recent times if gauged upon entertainment value.
Lot's of laughs and witty one-liners along with the guy-flick must haves - blow everything up.

I saw that yesterday. Although the action is superb and there's a few funnies, I thought it was 'Die Hard Lite'. The franchise we all know and love started as an 18. Now its a 15 and Mclean doesn't smoke or swear anymore....I know thats not massively important but it was a part of his character and now he just seems a tad...diluted.
Still good fun, just not Hans Gruber fun.

Ah, that means we will get it by 2017. We only began using PVR's in 2006, 10 years after it was first brought out.:o

thats not too bad, they only came out here for cable in 2005(it only used to be tivo, and they would cost a bomb), I didnt get mine until last summer, well worth it though. I still havent upgraded to High Def yet, I dont think I'll bother until they make it mandatory in 3 years.
The new Chevy Camaro is badass in the movie...you'll see what im talking about. My uncle works for Chevy and I called and asked how much will the Camaro SS be, he told me around 50,000 dollars...I would need to get me some ladies of the night and start pimpin them if I was to be able to afford it, lol.

Just saw the movie. Excellent. Terrific action and great special effects. My only gripe would be the seemingly excessive product placement throughout the movie. Apparently noone drinks coke products anymore, it's all pepsi hehe. Also the fact that all the cars were Pontiac/GMC and Chevy was kind of a let down. I was hoping they'd stay somewhat true to the cartoon in that respect. But other than that, fantastic flick!

Bought a copy off the Triads in the local and watched it with a hangover, which is never wise, but I thought it was alright, nothing too special,so I'm going to watch it properly when it comes out this weekend.
I'll let you know Dave's quick caption review once I've seen it;) .
Going to see Die Hard tonight actually, looking forward to it.

Yep, good film if you want action and effects. Changed too much from the story that I grew up with, but still it doesn't spoil the film that much. Very funny in parts and my only fault with it, is that it ended a little bit too quickly in the end. I guess there will be another one, as it is left open for it.
Will be getting it on DVD when it comes out.

Agreed, the copy I had wasn't the best (people were being served drinks!!!),but the ending was rushed, and then you find a connection between Optimus and Megatron crowbarred in for no reason, spoils it a bit.

I loved transformers when I was a kid and I can't wait to go and see it.
I started a thread about it on here about 8 months ago about the film with a link to the "trial" of how Optimus Prime would transform and I got called "immature" and "childish" etc. Pretty much got slated. Everyone eating their words now then eh?
I'm glad there are more people out there who actually like transformers and can see that the movie is going to be "grown up"!:p

love the effects man, never thought they would be able to do it in a real film..
