Is it worth carrying on during this time? I suggest closing the forum until he comes back.

That's a good point. We're carrying out maintenance on the site as it is so this may be the ideal opportunity.

I'll be away on holidays from the 6th of July to the 20th of July.
Just in case anyone is wondering where I am.

Have a good Summer guys.

Didn't know you'd come back from your last holiday! :p

What, he's JOKING! I've booked a holiday from the 6th to the 20th as I thought there would not be missing anything on here between those dates. So now I've lost my deposit AND had to pay the £100 fine for taking my kids out of school during term time.

Thanks a lot King Xabi, if that is your real name.

But if you ARE going on holiday and people see you haven't been online for a while they probably will wonder where you are. I wish I had done the same when I went on holiday (13th June to 27th June) as it would have avoided the numerous texts from concerned forum members.

Actually, I'll just use this opportunity to point out I'll be going out for a few hours later. Don't worry if I don't post anything during that time.

We had assumed that's why you hadn't been around Chris....but next time a public announcement as to your holiday plans will be required.

I could well be out of the country from August 15th to August 22nd. Once this has been confirmed could you make it a sticky on all forums please?

What......you don't even have any concrete plans to tell us yet? This is terrible John, you know we will panic until we know for sure that you are definitely going, and of course, your exact destination.

I shall of course put a sticky on all forums informing people of your impending departure as soon as more details are available.

I missed this thread... me like it...

I might be going on a holiday with one of me clients... it's got to be warm, no more than 2-3 hours flying, sometime in the next 2 months and under £200pp for 3 people... oh, and flying out of manchunia airport if possible....

oh, one last stipulation... the place has to have a shops that sells airfix models
(obviously 'airo-fixo' in foreign, like), as the man we'll be supporting wants to buy one when we get there...

ps... I need all-inclussive packages... the lads not loaded and he pays for staff too...

pps... soz for going 'serious' on this thread and hijacking it... (not that king xabi will mind as it seems he's done one.... and a self-admitted 'tit')

Or just stay in barcelona it's one of the few main world citys to have a beach in it. And there is bound to be air-fix planes sold somewhere.
