Hi all,
I am organising a stag weekend in August going to Newcastle (cant stand the football club though!!)
I need help in finding a decent club to go to on Friday night, we are going to The Sea Club on Saturday and on Sunday to Hed Kandi.
Also any recommendations on Bars to visit prior to going out clubbing would be brilliant. We will be staying at the Copthorne if thats any use to anyone.
I appreciate your help in this.

I work right next door to The Copthorne so keep the noise down and if I see any piles of sick I know who to blame

Newcastle is the best night out in britain by a country mile in my opinion mate. You will love it. There are lots of bars near the central station,55 degrees, vodka revolution, union rooms and there are lots of good bars down the quayside like jimmys, fever, bar 69 and casa. Its wall to wall. There is lots of choice for clubs too like baja, buffalo joes, foundation and blu bambu. Sea is a bit poser/posh if you like that sort of thing and baja is very cheesey but a cracking night. The quayside on a saturday afternoon is great in summer in pitcher and piano. Its great fun and the girls are fantastic. Enjoy.

In all seriousness if you want any more info PM me. Some half decent places round Central station and the quayside is a 5 minute walk from there (with a gentleman's club on the way down)

Clcik on ALR's name and a window should pop up - on thsi window there should be a send PM facility.
I can fully recommend a visit to For Your Eyes Only - that's if it's still there.

You've never been. Theres not three better places in britain for a night out. Everywhere else in the north east aside from newcastle is a shithole and certainly not a good night out.

Just got back from a weekend stag do in Bratislava with 20 of us, they've had some trouble out there so we were on our best behaviour but still managed an epic weekend! :D

I have been (albeit a few years back). I didn't find it any more exciting than any other city which, nowadays, are all carbon copies of each other, full of students, stag and hen nights and Firkin pubs. I prefer to get out to where the locals are. If we ever went to a game in the North East we would always have a night in Redcar on the way back. We always had a laugh and there were hardly, if any, posing bastards hanging about. 'Tis a shithole though round there, but I did manage to have sexual relations with a fit bird in Marske.

Redcar! Fuck me you need to get out more if you think thats a good night. I wouldnt go there for a night out unless I was armed. Newcastle has to be the easiest pace in the world to get fixed up so that is another bonus. Its only my opinion of course but I genuinley love the place.

Just out of interest, how old are you? Genuine question.

I prefer Liverpool by a country mile but that's probably because whenever I'm there it's to catch up with my mates. Plus, I work and socialise in Newcastle every day.

"A fit bird in Marske"...by definition, an oxymoron.
