Planning on going there a week on Monday (9th July) any ideas if it;s going to be packed with kids or do they break up later?

Defo full of irksome little chavs and chavettes on their borstal annual trip for "Good behaviour.

Take the grandparents, so that they can be strategically left in verious queues up ahead while your on the rides. This can save hours.

i always like to get there for opening time, that way you can run to the furthest rides and have a few goes before the crowds catch up.

i love that oblivion ride!

Loads of schools tend to take the kids to Alton Towers for their end of year trip, so it will be FULL of them.

I went about four Saturdays ago, and expected it to be stupidly packed, but it wasn't, got on everything with hardly any queuing time.
I am sure they have changed the Rip Saw though, as although you always tended to get a bit wet, it now soaks you to the skin. I looked like I had just been thrown in a swimming pool. :mad:

We got soaked when we went on that ride too.... :p It was great fun though.....Most of the schools break up on 20th July? But i'm sure it will be packed with school trips so good luck

Ha.....sorry, but it's true!! Had to go and try and dry myself and my hair under the hand dryer in the loo.... to no avail!! :o

Was fairly busy but didn't que for more than 20 minutes for anything, never seen so many Scousers in one place! apart from Anfield
